The 186 bed facility is located in a country-like environment giving our residents a chance to enjoy a peaceful, tranquil atmosphere and a place to relax for faster recovery. Different activities are designed for life enrichment of each resident to help them reach their goals.

NMS Healthcare of Hagerstown is proud of its caring heritage and tradition of excellence in delivering quality healthcare services to the community, ensuring our residents dignity and comfort. Transportation services are also available to our residents for their convenience. Hydration stations are also available throughout the facility for the residents to enjoy.

Activities:

Residents and families feel better physically, emotionally and mentally and function at a more optimal level when they are interacting with others in comfortable surroundings. That is why we provide attractive and spacious areas for our residents to gather and socialize with one another. We encourage visits by all family members, friends and pets. Our residents can enjoy watching the birds and other gifts of nature that surround the facility. Our staff provides daily activities tailored to meet residents’ recreational needs and also serve as life enrichment. Among the many scheduled activities are:

Dining Program

At NMS Healthcare of Hagerstown, our Registered Dieticians ensure appropriate meals to meet individual needs. These experienced dieticians continually assess, plan and monitor our residents to ensure that they remain nutritionally stable. For those who are more independent, they are encouraged to eat in the dining room, having the capability to socialize with other residents as well.
